Role Overview
This full-time, onsite role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The driver will be responsible for transporting VIP patients, doctors, staff, and visitors in a safe, professional, and timely manner, while supporting healthcare-related transport and logistical tasks when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Move VIP patients, doctors, team members, and visitors safely across Abu Dhabi and other parts of the UAE.
- Support home-visit appointments and sample collection work when requested.
- Carry medical specimens, documents, and other healthcare-related items in line with company procedures.
- Ensure each journey is comfortable, secure, and handled professionally, especially for patients.
- Assist patients with appointment-related transport needs and coordinate with clinic staff where required.
- Choose efficient routes and manage travel timing to help ensure punctual arrivals.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean, properly maintained, and always prepared for use.
- Record vehicle activity in logs and complete any required paperwork accurately.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving Licence for automatic vehicles.
- At least 3 years of professional driving experience in roles such as chauffeur, executive driver, patient transport driver, or VIP driver.
- Should have held a UAE driving licence for 3 to 5 years, with a clean record and no serious traffic violations.
- Good familiarity with Abu Dhabi roads and locations, as well as routes across the UAE.
- Presentable appearance with strong personal grooming standards.
- Comfortable communicating in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Polite, approachable, and patient-centered in attitude.
- Dependable, honest, punctual, and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience driving premium vehicles such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Lexus, or Range Rover.
- Defensive driving certification.
- First aid certification.
- Background in healthcare, hospitality, concierge services, or executive transport.
Working Conditions
The schedule is flexible and may involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Short-notice changes may also be required depending on patient and operational needs. The job includes regular driving within Abu Dhabi and, at times, travel across the UAE.
