Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers is hiring a full-time Driver for its Carrollton retail store at 319 Commerce Ave., LaGrange, GA. This role calls for someone dependable, safety-minded, and willing to support the store’s day-to-day transportation and retail needs.

What you’ll do

• Keep vehicle records and daily trip sheets completed in line with company procedures.
• Alert the leadership team right away about mechanical issues, traffic delays, accidents, or any transportation-related problems.
• Manually or with equipment such as a hand truck, lift gate, or pallet jack, load and unload trucks, trailers, containers, and vehicles during pickups and deliveries.
• Carry out daily preventive maintenance checks before, during, and after use, while following all safety rules.
• Clean the assigned vehicle every day on the inside and as needed on the outside.
• Immediately raise any concerns to leadership.
• Arrange, pad, stack, and secure items on the truck so they remain protected in transit.
• Assist in other store areas whenever requested by leadership.
• Learn all areas of the retail operation and be prepared to support multiple functions through cross-training.

Schedule and working conditions

This role may require working any shift from Monday through Sunday. Weekly hours can vary depending on business requirements such as seasonal demand and donation volume. The schedule and operating days may change based on the store location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfort with basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• Commercial driving experience is an advantage.
• Forklift experience is an advantage.
• Warehouse experience is an advantage.
