Role overview

KLDiscovery is hiring actively licensed U.S. attorneys for ongoing remote document review work supporting electronic discovery projects. The position is suited to attorneys who want to contribute to complex litigation matters while gaining practical experience in the discovery process.

Position details

This is a project-based role for temporary contingent employees. Work is fully remote and completed from home. Assignments vary depending on client demand.

Pay is set at $25 per hour. Candidates should be able to work at least 40 hours each week during the following schedule: Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 7 PM, and Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM. Overtime may be available if project requirements and client approval allow it.

Responsibilities

Examine documents on e-discovery platforms and apply the appropriate review codes.
Classify materials for relevance, confidentiality, privilege, and responsiveness.
Perform quality checks when needed.
Support the preparation of privilege logs and redaction logs.
Work according to detailed project directions.
Maintain the pace and accuracy standards expected for the assignment.
Operate independently in a secure remote setup.
Keep attendance, communication, and time records accurate and reliable.

Requirements

An active U.S. law license in good standing is mandatory.
Applicants must live in Arizona, Tennessee, Mississippi, Nevada, or Oregon.
Prior electronic document review experience is preferred, especially with Nebula or Relativity, and with responsiveness, confidentiality, privilege review, issue coding, or privilege logging.
Experience as a team lead or in quality control is preferred.
A secure home office and high-speed internet connection are required.
Computer must run Windows 11 version 23H2, 24H2, 25H2 or newer, or macOS Sonoma 14, Sequoia 15, Tahoe 26 or newer; Windows 11 in S Mode is not supported.
Candidates must have an Apple or Android phone/tablet running iOS 17+ or Android 12+, along with Google Authenticator compatibility for iOS 14+ or Android 6+.
Strong computer literacy and comfort with remote-work tools are essential.
Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to follow complex instructions are important.
Good written and spoken communication skills are required.
