About the internship

FUME is looking for a Doctor Intern to support its health transformation team. The company works with professionals who want to address concerns such as diabetes, stubborn belly fat, thyroid issues, PCOS, gut imbalance, and fatigue through lifestyle-based methods rather than crash diets or extreme exercise.

During the internship, you will receive guidance and mentoring to handle 1:1 consultations over Zoom with interested clients. Your role will be to understand each client’s symptoms, daily routine, and health goals, then suggest the next steps in line with FUME’s consultation framework.

Role responsibilities

The internship involves client-facing consultation work and careful coordination with the internal team. You will be expected to follow structured procedures, keep accurate records, and support treatment alignment when needed.

Hold individual client consultations on Zoom.
Go through the symptoms, lifestyle history, and goals shared by clients.
Explain possible root factors behind the client’s concerns in simple terms.
Suggest suitable next steps based on FUME’s process.
Work with the internal team whenever escalation or treatment coordination is required.
Maintain precise notes and comply with standard operating procedures.

Who can apply

This internship is open only to candidates who can work remotely, are able to begin between 29 June 2026 and 3 August 2026, and can commit to a 3-month duration. Applicants should have relevant skills and genuine interest in the area. Women looking to start or restart their career are also encouraged to apply.

Other requirements

Final-year students or recent graduates from BAMS, BHMS, BNYS, BDS, BPT, or MBBS are eligible.
Strong command of both English and Hindi is required.
A serious interest in preventive and lifestyle healthcare is expected.
Candidates must have a laptop, webcam, and reliable internet connection.
This is a part-time remote role.
Availability of 5–6 hours per day is needed, with working time falling between 8 AM and 9 PM IST as per company needs.
Consultation appointments are arranged one day ahead.

Compensation and benefits

The internship is paid, with a monthly stipend in the range of INR 6,000 to 11,000. The pay structure includes a fixed component of ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 per month and an incentive component of ₹1,000 to ₹3,000 per month. Performance-based incentives may apply, and a PPO may be offered depending on performance and client outcomes.

You will also gain mentorship from experienced health coaches and doctors, along with hands-on exposure to client interaction, root-cause consultation, and wellness communication.

Code of conduct

Client phone numbers and health information must not be used or stored for personal promotion, private consultations, or any outside business activity. All communication must remain within official FUME channels. Any breach of this rule can lead to immediate termination.
