CO-architecture is a fast-scaling Australian design marketplace that brings together homeowners, architects, interior designers, builders and other design professionals. Through editorial content, social channels and events, the company showcases standout local design and the people behind it to a growing national audience. With its community and media reach expanding quickly, it aims to be a highly trusted destination for discovering and connecting with leading Australian design talent.
Role overview
This position blends marketing and client consultation. You will help shape and protect the CO-architecture brand by creating editorial, campaign and social content that resonates with the industry. At the same time, you will speak directly with homeowners and members, understanding their project needs and connecting them with the right professionals. The role is suited to someone who enjoys both creative campaign work and hands-on consultation, and it offers direct collaboration with the founders along with significant ownership from the outset.
Marketing and design responsibilities
- Create editorial pieces for the publication, including project spotlights and studio profiles.
- Maintain a consistent brand identity across all CO-architecture touchpoints.
- Develop visual assets for email, social media, websites, presentations and print using Canva and related tools.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns from concept development through to launch.
- Manage social content for an audience of 550,000 followers, including the content calendar, creative direction and brand voice.
Client and member consultation
- Handle incoming client enquiries and conduct consultation calls to clarify project objectives, scope, budget and timelines.
- Write detailed project briefs, upload them to the portal and alert the relevant professionals.
- Support clients in reviewing responses, narrowing down suitable professionals and arranging introductions while tracking matching outcomes.
- Send weekly project alerts and source, assess and upload commercial and government tenders into the portal.
- Keep records accurate and identify patterns in project types, locations and demand to help guide planning.
What you will bring
- Background in marketing and design, with preference for brand-focused or editorial experience.
- A portfolio that demonstrates both strategic marketing thinking and practical design ability.
- Excellent writing skills and sound editorial judgement.
- Confident, friendly communication skills for phone and email conversations with clients.
- Practical experience using Canva and AI tools such as Claude.
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage creative and client-facing tasks in a fast-moving startup environment.
Desirable experience
- Exposure to, or genuine interest in, architecture, design or the built environment.
- Working knowledge of Meta Ads, email marketing platforms and basic analytics.
