About the role
This remote position is for a customer-oriented representative who will act as the main contact for customers and deliver high-quality support across phone, email, and chat. The role suits someone who enjoys assisting people, communicating clearly, and finding practical solutions in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Reply to customer questions quickly and professionally through phone, email, and live chat.
- Share correct details about products, services, billing, and company rules.
- Help customers with account updates, order tracking, troubleshooting, and general service needs.
- Handle issues with empathy and a solutions-first approach while keeping customer satisfaction high.
- Look into customer concerns and work toward efficient resolution.
- Pass along complicated cases to the right internal teams when required.
- Record customer conversations, issues, and outcomes accurately.
- Check back with customers to make sure problems have been fully addressed.
- Maintain positive customer relationships through polite, professional communication.
- Support retention by consistently delivering dependable service.
- Collect customer feedback and share useful observations for process improvement.
- Work with teammates to create a helpful, customer-first environment.
- Use CRM platforms and support tools to manage customer interactions.
- Keep customer records and documentation current and accurate.
- Help update internal knowledge articles and support materials.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and service expectations.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service, customer support, or a similar role.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems and manage disagreements effectively.
- Comfort handling several tasks and priorities at the same time.
- Good organization and close attention to detail.
- Self-driven, dependable, and able to work independently in a remote setup.
- Working knowledge of basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office or similar tools.
- High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Preferred: experience with CRM systems and customer support software.
- Preferred: extra training, certifications, or related education in customer service.
