About the Role
Netflix Animation Studios is focused on creating bold, immersive animated films that leave a lasting impact. The studio is building a global creative community across three locations, and this role sits within the Outreach & Events team supporting both external recruiting efforts and internal culture-building programs.
As Coordinator, Outreach & Events, you will help shape memorable experiences for employees and prospective talent alike. The work spans studio-wide celebrations, town halls, project launches, and recruiting-related programming at conferences, festivals, expos, and other industry gatherings.
This position partners closely with teams across all three studio locations to create consistent, inclusive experiences while also adapting to the needs of each local community. Every interaction with the studio, whether in person, online, or at industry events, should reflect a creative and welcoming culture.
What You Will Do
- Plan and run event details end to end, including décor, catering, entertainment, transport, venue setup, guest lists, special guests, equipment, and promotional materials.
- Support outreach efforts by coordinating studio visits, portfolio reviews, conferences, festivals, academic events, workshops, and similar initiatives, including travel and lodging arrangements.
- Work with cross-functional partners such as Corporate Events, Workplace, AV, Media, and Creative teams to deliver smooth on-site and off-site events.
- Handle invitations, calendars, and post-event follow-up communication, ensuring stakeholders receive accurate and timely updates.
- Manage event inventory and ordering needs, including swag, signage, name badges, and related supplies, while also assisting with shared inboxes and on-site coordination.
- Contribute fresh ideas to improve outreach and event experiences and help put those ideas into action.
- Provide additional support for other outreach and event activities as needed.
What You Need
- At least 2 years of experience in event coordination, talent outreach, or production logistics, ideally in feature animation, VFX, gaming, or a fast-moving creative agency.
- Interest in the animation industry, along with a basic understanding of studio production pipelines, artist workflows, and major industry events or festivals.
- Strong planning, organization, and multitasking abilities, with comfort managing several overlapping deadlines at once.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with a professional, inclusive, and approachable style.
- Experience working across different levels of an organization and building effective collaborative relationships.
- A proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Comfort adapting quickly to changing priorities, new information, and shifting studio needs.
- Hands-on experience with Google Drive/Workspace and modern event management or CRM platforms, with careful data accuracy.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% and work occasional non-standard hours depending on event requirements.
