About the company
Libri operates as an innovative wholesaler and service partner positioned between publishers and bookstores. The company supplies more than 4,000 bookstores of all sizes with ordered books from nearly 5,500 publishers, usually overnight. Your tasks
- Prepare monthly reporting, including forecasts and analyses of results.
- Compile and present management reporting for the executive board, supervisory board, shareholders, works council and employee meetings.
- Take responsibility for projects and sub-projects, including close collaboration with senior management.
- Provide meaningful KPIs, perform ad hoc analyses, and create presentations on topics related to material flow/logistics, information technology, and trade and e-commerce.
- Develop audience-specific analyses of costs, deviations and trends, and prepare decision-making documents.
- Support monthly and annual closings, investment calculations and budget planning.
- Identify opportunities for improvements and cost savings, including an assessment of the expected value of implementation.
What you should bring
- A completed commercial apprenticeship and/or a degree in business administration or economics, ideally with a focus on controlling or business informatics, plus at least 2 to 3 years of professional experience.
- Strong command of the Microsoft 365 environment, along with the ability to use AI tools effectively for accurate and insightful reporting.
- Experience with SQL databases and tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar.
- Initial exposure to SAP FI and/or CO modules, SAP S/4HANA, and document management systems is desirable.
- Quick comprehension and a strong analytical mindset for working with numbers.
- Dependability, a structured approach, and the ability to work independently.
- A high level of initiative, commitment, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Good English skills at least at B2 level.
