About the Role
SmartAsset is hiring an energetic sales-oriented professional who enjoys building relationships and shaping positive customer experiences. In this role, you will support people across the country as they connect with financial advisors, and you will be part of the company’s fastest-growing area. The position is fully remote and follows a fixed Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EDT.
What You’ll Do
- Reach out to consumers through a high volume of outbound calls, with an expectation of 200+ calls each day.
- Work toward and consistently deliver on individual and team targets, balancing quality and quantity goals.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for users who need help connecting with vetted financial advisors.
- Follow up with interested users and arrange advisor consultations to create a smooth experience.
- Use customer service techniques along with structured scripts to provide a personalized and polished interaction.
- Record user conversations, issues, and outcomes accurately in the company CRM.
- Spot repeated user concerns and escalate them so the overall process can improve.
- Share feedback, observations, and ideas with team leads and cross-functional partners to support continuous improvement.
- Handle other projects or tasks as assigned in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Experience and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume call center is required.
- You should be comfortable working in an environment where quotas and conversion rates are important performance measures.
- You need to learn quickly and adjust your approach based on user needs and business priorities.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills are essential.
- You must be available to work some holidays or weekends during busy periods.
Physical Requirements
This position involves extended periods of sitting and computer-based work. You must also be able to communicate effectively by phone and/or video conference, especially for concierge and sales-related work.

Compensation
For residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, Washington, and New York City, the base salary is $45,000 with on-target earnings up to $60,000, plus RSUs and benefits. Compensation at SmartAsset is set using lawful, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the contiguous United States.
