Cement Mason

Role overview

We are looking for a Cement Mason to support a road construction crew. The role focuses on forming, placing, finishing, and maintaining concrete work across project sites in the Fraser Valley area.

Core responsibilities

• Build and position concrete forms for sidewalks and curb-and-gutter work.
• Place, distribute, and finish concrete using the appropriate tools and methods.
• Keep track of the curing stage so the concrete hardens correctly.
• Restore and service existing concrete surfaces and structures when needed.
• Work in line with safety standards and help maintain an orderly job site.
• Coordinate with fellow crew members to help deliver projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Cement Mason is preferred, especially in road construction settings.
• Practical knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing processes.
• Ability to understand and work from blueprints and construction drawings.
• A detail-oriented approach along with solid troubleshooting ability.
• Valid driver’s licence is required.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $21.88 to $45.51.

Work location

This is an on-site role tied to projects across the Fraser Valley area.
