Caregiver - Fixed Term

Role overview

Ryman Healthcare is seeking a Caregiver for Miriam Corban Retirement Village in Henderson, Auckland. This is a fixed-term, full-time role covering parental leave, with work scheduled from Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The assignment begins immediately and runs until 12 January 2027.

In this role, you will provide compassionate support to residents, contribute to a caring team culture, and help ensure residents receive personalised care in a warm retirement living environment.

What you will do

• Build genuine, lasting connections with residents and their families.
• Deliver care in line with each resident’s individual care plan, guided by the standard of treating residents as you would your own family.
• Use Ryman’s care technology, including the myRyman app, to support daily work.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to maintain a positive and effective team environment.

What we are looking for

To succeed in this role, you should bring warmth, empathy, and strong communication skills, along with a dependable, friendly, and professional approach. Previous experience in aged care is preferred but not essential.
