About the role
This opportunity is with a fast-growing, mission-led business focused on helping move the economy toward net zero through innovative funding solutions. The Capital Markets team is expanding to keep pace with increasingly complex financing needs.
The company is open to considering recent graduates, provided they can show genuine interest in finance and relevant exposure through study or work experience. This position offers a strong launchpad for someone analytical who wants to develop a career in capital markets.
As an Analyst, you will work closely with senior colleagues and gain practical exposure to sophisticated debt structures, including the full lifecycle of a securitisation facility. The role goes beyond data handling and offers the chance to learn how capital is structured and managed to support a rapidly scaling leasing business.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key analytical support for the team and help ensure funding arrangements operate efficiently.
- Support the administration of securitisation facilities, including the move toward public market activity.
- Assist with rating agency and investor engagement by responding to diligence queries and analysing performance information.
- Build financial models, carry out market analysis, and work with large and sometimes complex datasets.
- Contribute to transaction reporting, including asset performance analysis, forecasting, and monitoring trigger thresholds.
- Prepare clear spreadsheets, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle ad hoc data and information requests as needed.
- Work with the wider business so that capital markets activity supports overall growth plans.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance or a closely related subject.
- Either a recent graduate or someone with around 1 year of experience in a finance- or data-focused role; exposure to capital markets, banking, or debt advisory is helpful but not essential.
- A strong numerical and analytical mindset, with the ability to turn complex data into professional outputs.
- Advanced spreadsheet capability and a basic working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing larger datasets.
- A self-starting approach with a willingness to learn new financial structures and solve problems across the business in a fast-moving environment.
- Confidence in communicating technical financial analysis to internal stakeholders.
- Genuine motivation to apply finance and technical skills to support a business working on climate change.
