Role Overview

This position goes beyond a standard FP&A function. You will work where finance meets operations, using live information from kitchens and markets to understand performance on the ground and turn that into practical guidance for the business.

You will take ownership of core reporting and forecasting while helping define how data supports decision-making. The role involves spotting inefficiencies, improving results, and working closely with operational teams to solve business problems in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Your work will center on reporting, forecasting, analysis, and cross-functional support across the business.

Manage recurring reporting for locations and districts, then streamline and automate it so the team can spend more time on analysis and less on manual tasks.
Develop and maintain a rolling forecast based on current operational data, and lead reforecasting efforts with clear explanations of variances and future scenarios.
Convert day-to-day activity in kitchens and markets into financial insight, linking operational performance to P&L outcomes.
Use data to identify waste, inefficiencies, and cost pressures, then work with operations and other teams to implement improvements.
Assist with budgeting by providing analysis and commentary that supports business decisions.
Work with outside platforms and internal stakeholders to generate insights about the customer experience and help guide marketing choices.
Contribute to better company-wide use of data by improving tools, workflows, and the way insights are communicated across teams.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, solid financial or strategy experience, and the confidence to work in a changing environment.

2 to 4 years of experience in finance, consulting, strategy, or a comparable analytical function.
Strong command of Excel or Google Sheets, including work with large datasets; SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
Sharp analytical thinking with the ability to simplify complex issues and identify the main business drivers.
Comfort operating in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain data-driven findings to teammates outside finance.
Proven initiative, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly while taking on new responsibilities.
Interest in operational work and using data to influence real business outcomes rather than only producing reports.
A degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline.

Additional Information

Salary for this role is $110,000 to $150,000. The company notes that responsibilities listed here are not exhaustive and may be adjusted based on business needs.
