Role Overview

This Box Maker position is a hands-on manufacturing role based in the Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan Area. The role involves supporting production operations, maintaining equipment and work areas, and carrying out routine plant tasks under guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep machines in good working order by cleaning and lubricating equipment regularly, and ensure the work area stays clear of debris and dirt.
• Use machinery according to instructions, and handle basic materials, tools, loading, and unloading on production lines and equipment.
• Carry out routine upkeep tasks around the facility and support general plant operations.
• Complete non-technical, day-to-day tasks required in the manufacturing area.
• Inspect finished products through routine quality checks.
• Escalate problems or concerns to a supervisor or other senior team member when needed.
• Adhere to workplace safety rules and procedures at all times.
• Take on other assigned duties as required.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is typically expected for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The stated pay range for this role is $16.36 to $27.87 annually. For new hires, the typical competitive wage is $17.67. Final offers may vary depending on market conditions, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. If the competitive wage is the same in both fields, the starting rate applies equally to all applicants. The starting rate does not guarantee future pay increases. This role may also qualify for a short-term incentive.
