Role overview
Norwich City Football Club is hiring bar staff to support the corporate bars on first-team matchdays at Carrow Road. This is a casual, hourly paid opportunity for people who enjoy delivering great service, working with the public, and being part of a lively matchday environment.
Experience in bar work is welcome, but it is not required because full training will be given. Typical matchdays are on Saturdays, with some weekday evening fixtures and Sunday games. Shifts usually last between 4 and 8 hours, depending on the fixture and the duties assigned. Start dates will align with the 2026-2027 football season.
Key duties
- Greet customers warmly and serve them throughout the matchday.
- Deliver customer service that reflects the club’s Carrow Road standards.
- Take orders accurately and serve drinks quickly.
- Maintain food hygiene standards at all times.
- Keep the bar area cleaned and presented to a high standard.
What we are looking for
- A calm, resilient, and confident manner in a busy, fast-moving setting.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Drive, enthusiasm, and a focus on achieving good outcomes.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Professional personal presentation as a representative of Norwich City Football Club.
Benefits and opportunities
- Competitive pay rates.
- 20% discount across all club shops.
- Chance to work at non-matchday events as well.
- Support to learn and develop in the workplace if this is your first job.
- Flexible hours that can suit additional work or study, in a distinctive working environment.
