Overview

This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar. The resort is looking for a proactive, safety-conscious Adventure Park Supervisor to manage the day-to-day running of the park, guide team performance, and help deliver an enjoyable guest experience. The role requires a strong focus on safe operations, service quality, and efficient coordination across activities and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of the adventure park, covering rides, climbing features, zip lines, obstacle courses, and guest-use areas.
- Organize, support, and supervise the operations team to ensure service quality and adherence to safety requirements.
- Carry out routine safety checks on equipment, attractions, and park facilities.
- Make sure all visitors receive proper safety instructions and comply with park rules and procedures.
- Act quickly and appropriately when incidents, emergencies, or guest issues arise.
- Track guest movement, staff deployment, and overall operational performance during busy periods.
- Coach new employees on operating procedures, safety expectations, and emergency response steps.
- Keep accurate records for operations, incidents, and maintenance activity.
- Liaise with maintenance staff to resolve equipment concerns and reduce disruption.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and visual presentation across the park.
- Assist with ticketing, events, and special group activities as needed.
- Support management in meeting revenue, guest satisfaction, and operating goals.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, recreation management, sports management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in adventure parks, amusement parks, recreation settings, hospitality, or a similar environment.
- Good knowledge of safety rules and operational processes.
- Proven leadership and team coordination ability.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Confidence to stay composed and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
