About the Role
Builders Capital Exchange is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support its expanding accounting function. In this role, you will help keep financial records accurate, current, and well-organized while handling sensitive data with care and discretion.

What You'll Do
- Enter and update financial information so records remain complete and accurate.
- Match and review bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger balances.
- Spot inconsistencies in accounts and help correct them.
- Maintain journal entries and general ledger activity.
- Support monthly and annual closing activities.
- Assist with special assignments and financial analysis when needed.
Requirements
- An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related subject is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting position, especially one with strong Accounts Payable exposure.
- Good numerical thinking, analytical ability, and understanding of cash flow concepts.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, along with critical thinking and interpersonal abilities.
- High accuracy, close attention to detail, and the ability to manage several priorities at once.
