Accountant (US Experience)

Role overview

This is a remote contract opportunity for an accounting professional with US-based experience. The role is focused on supporting AI training and quality checks by reviewing financial information, adding expert annotations, and validating accounting data.

Compensation and commitment

Pay is set at USD 90 to 100 per hour. The expected workload is flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours each week.

Responsibilities

• Use your US accounting background to examine, label, and verify financial records for AI training use.
• Apply US GAAP principles to keep the financial information accurate and relevant.
• Partner with the AI development team by sharing accounting expertise and detailed process feedback.
• Work with ERP platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to explain accounting workflows and recommended practices.
• Help quality assurance efforts by reviewing training data and spotting missing details or inconsistencies.
• Write down accounting concepts and real-world scenarios in a clear way for both technical and non-technical readers.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with ERP tools, preferably SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
• Background in financial annotation, auditing, and documenting accounting processes.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex accounting topics for different audiences.
