Role overview
Royal York Property Management is seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee the owner experience throughout the leasing journey. This role focuses on keeping files progressing, maintaining client confidence, and ensuring every step is executed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is already comfortable managing a client portfolio, communicating proactively, tracking deadlines closely, following up consistently, and holding a high standard of accountability. Strong organization, speed, professionalism, and the ability to stay composed under pressure are essential.
This is a remote position working EST hours.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for owners during the leasing process and provide a polished, high-touch client experience.
- Keep workflow moving by checking readiness, collecting missing details, coordinating the next steps, and avoiding avoidable delays.
- Share proactive status updates so owners remain informed about progress and next actions.
- Handle urgent, time-sensitive tasks with clear communication and a strong sense of priority.
- Collect and track all required documents in line with company procedures.
- Keep CRM records accurate and current, including notes, tasks, follow-ups, and stage updates.
- Identify concerns early and escalate when needed to preserve client satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 3–5 years of account management experience is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage several clients or files at once while maintaining reliable follow-up.
- Strong client communication skills and confidence in handling issues or concerns.
- High attention to process and comfort working within a structured CRM-based workflow.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritize quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Nice to have
- Background in leasing, property management, or real estate operations.
- Experience in service environments with high volume and strict turnaround expectations.
- Familiarity with AI tools for improving documentation, reporting, or internal efficiency.
Remote work setup requirements
- Dual monitors.
- A computer with a minimum of 16 GB RAM.
- Reliable internet with speeds of 100+ Mbps.
- A webcam.
- A noise-cancelling headset.
Compensation
The position includes a base salary of USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, along with performance-based bonuses. Strong performers may earn up to about USD 95,000 annually. Full compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
