Account Manager

Role overview

This position is centered on managing rental accounts while delivering a high level of customer care. The role combines account oversight, product sales, delivery and pickup support, store presentation, and early-stage collections. It also plays an important part in strengthening customer relationships and supporting sales and account performance in line with the company’s mission and values.

Compensation is described as a minimum starting hourly rate of $12.28 and up to $14.45 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned group of customer accounts and maintain positive working relationships.
• Handle early delinquency collection efforts for accounts 1 to 6 days past due, while meeting daily and weekly collection targets.
• Keep accounts in good standing by securing payment commitments and using account management tools effectively.
• Complete scheduled routes for deliveries, pickups, and follow-up visits.
• Provide strong customer service in the store, by phone, and during in-home visits.
• Help drive sales by promoting products and creating new rental agreements.
• Transport, install, and handle merchandise safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized showroom and care for company vehicles.
• Follow all safety procedures and operating standards set by the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving history.
• Good communication ability and a strong customer service approach.

Physical and work schedule requirements

• Role involves regular lifting and moving of heavy items.
• Candidate must be able to drive a box truck.
• Work requires extended periods of standing and driving.
• Full-time schedule, Monday through Saturday.
• Sundays are off, along with one additional weekday off.
• This is a physically active job that includes bending, lifting, and standing for long stretches.
