About the Opportunity
A major global payments network, known worldwide in financial infrastructure, is launching a new digital sales team in Singapore. This role is focused on hunting for new business across APAC accounts, with ownership of a sizable portfolio that includes fintechs, acquirers, and B2B platforms. The position is centered on creating net-new revenue and expanding product adoption across a broad product offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of tier 3 accounts across APAC, including account segmentation, prioritization, and territory planning.
- Generate new revenue by winning accounts without existing contracts and by increasing payment volumes and product usage within the current customer base.
- Handle the complete sales process from prospecting and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and final closure.
- Engage with complex stakeholder groups, including banks, fintech companies, acquirers, and partner organizations.
- Activate company campaigns and incentive initiatives to speed up growth within assigned accounts.
- Help establish a new sales function by shaping processes, tools, and the go-to-market approach.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a strong record of creating net-new revenue.
- Proven end-to-end sales ownership, including cold outreach and deal closure.
- Experience managing large books of business in SMB or mid-market environments, ideally with 100+ accounts.
- Strong territory strategy skills, including the ability to segment accounts and identify high-value prospects.
- Knowledge of structured selling frameworks such as MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, SPIN, or similar methods.
- Payments or fintech exposure is preferred but not mandatory; product expertise can be developed on the job.
- Ability to speak a second APAC-relevant language such as Mandarin, Korean, Hindi, or Tagalog is a strong advantage.
