Subject Matter Expert (ELA) - Internship (WFH)

About the internship

This work-from-home internship is for an English Language Arts Subject Matter Expert who will contribute to educational content development for Grades 3 through 12. The role focuses on building effective learning materials, assessments, and lesson plans that support curriculum-aligned instruction.

What you'll do

• Research literary works, genres, and themes that are relevant to ELA instruction for Grades 3-12.
• Develop structured lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and learning goals.
• Create assessments and evaluation tools that help measure reading comprehension, student understanding, and writing ability.
• Prepare supporting resources such as reading guides, writing prompts, and multimedia learning aids.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a remote internship, able to begin between 20 June 2026 and 25 July 2026, and available for the full 6-month duration. Candidates should also bring relevant skills and a genuine interest in the role.

Other requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in curriculum design and lesson planning for English Language Arts.
• A solid grasp of literary analysis and writing instruction.
• Previous teaching experience in English Language Arts at the high school level.
• Comfort with AI tools and willingness to work on Articulate Rise; training will be provided.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend in the range of INR 10,000 to 15,000.
