Role overview
Fort Lauderdale United FC is seeking a hands-on Website & SEO/SEM Manager to lead the club’s digital web presence. The role focuses on improving owned web properties so they support ticket sales, youth program registrations, and fan engagement, while also helping the club rank strongly in local South Florida sports search results.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and continuously improve the main club website as well as related microsites for the youth, men’s, and women’s teams.
- Take full ownership of on-page and technical search engine optimization across all web assets.
- Plan and manage Google Ads activity across Search, Display, and Performance Max campaigns aligned to ticketing and enrollment targets.
- Set up and maintain consistent UTM tagging practices and GA4 event measurement.
- Create, publish, and keep current bilingual web content in English and Spanish.
- Partner with the Web Designer to enhance user experience and optimize landing pages for conversions.
- Prepare monthly reporting on web performance, including traffic, conversions, and paid search return on ad spend.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in website administration and SEO/SEM work.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Ads.
- Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or similar tools.
- Strong grasp of conversion rate optimization and landing page fundamentals.
Preferred background
- Prior experience with sports websites or ticketing-focused digital properties.
- Ability to manage bilingual content in Spanish.
- Familiarity with Looker Studio for dashboards and reporting.
Work environment
This is an in-person position in a fast-moving, growth-oriented setting. The schedule is expected to be around 60 hours per week over six days. The work culture emphasizes effort, accountability, and opportunity.
Compensation and bonus
The salary range is $33,600 to $43,400 per year, based on experience. The role is also eligible for a performance bonus tied to website traffic growth, search performance, conversion improvements, ticket sales, and youth program enrollment.
