Role overview
This position is for a polished, service-oriented Visitor Services Staff member who can create a welcoming experience for guests, guide them with accurate information, and help keep front-of-house operations running smoothly. The role covers visitor assistance, ticketing and booking support, crowd handling, and helping maintain a positive environment across the venue.
Core duties
- Receive visitors warmly and help them with directions, venue orientation, general information, ticketing, and booking support.
- Monitor visitor movement, manage queues, keep track of visitor counts, handle luggage where needed, and support survey collection.
- Apply gallery rules consistently and provide visitors with the required materials and guidance.
- Offer assistance to visitors with disabilities or special needs to help ensure an inclusive experience.
- Provide on-ground support for events, learning activities, educational programs, and other front-of-house tasks.
Requirements
- A school-leaving qualification or higher is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service or museum-related work is needed.
- Strong spoken and written communication in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
- Applicants who are Qatar or GCC nationals are preferred.
- Holding a First Aid certificate will be considered an added advantage.
