Supply Chain Planner

Role overview

This contract role is for a Supply Chain Planner based in Redmond, Washington. The position centers on managing information and material movement across functions and with external partners to keep supply aligned with demand.

The planner will build, review, and share forecasts, demand plans, and supply plans. The work also involves setting up processes and planning models that help maintain supply continuity, reduce risk from demand swings, and coordinate with execution, logistics, and procurement teams on current plans and future guidance.

Compensation for this assignment is $45.00 to $50.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Help design, test, and roll out demand and supply planning processes for material and labor needs.
• Take part in gap analysis and support ongoing improvements in data accuracy, signal quality, and overall supply chain readiness.
• Build and maintain planning dashboards and analytics.
• Assist with demand planning and execution readiness for AI cooling equipment.
• Support planning efforts for CE spares.
• Contribute to fuel planning and forecasting activities.
• Improve planning data governance, reporting, and data quality.
• Work with Planning, Logistics, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders.
• Support the implementation and refinement of planning capabilities, business workflows, and systems.
• Carry out assigned workstreams tied to planning process improvement and supply chain transformation programs.
• Prepare reports, business review materials, and documentation for planning processes.

Required skills and capabilities

• Strong verbal and written communication, with attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal effectiveness.
• Ability to assess costs associated with manufacturing, labor, and materials.
• Skill in documenting planning activities, process maps, and material movement accurately.
• Basic mentoring ability to provide support and constructive feedback.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel, SAP IBP, Ariba, or comparable ERP, MRP, and procurement tools.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and convert findings into practical business recommendations.
• Experience producing automated reports, dashboards, and planning analytics.
• Working knowledge of relevant shipping and production laws and regulations.

Education and experience

A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification is required.

Candidates should bring 5 to 7 years of related experience.

Compensation and benefits

The stated pay range is $45.00 to $50.00 per hour. Non-exempt roles qualify for overtime pay at 1.5 times the hourly base rate for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek, or as otherwise required by state or local law.

Final pay is based on relevant skills, education, and experience. Full-time staff may choose from available benefit packages.
