Senior Planner

About the role

John Paul Construction is looking to bring on a Senior Planner in Germany as part of its ongoing growth. The company values continuous improvement, teamwork, and the use of modern technology to deliver better outcomes on every project.

Key responsibilities

• Build contract and project schedules, and issue regular monthly progress updates.
• Track progress patterns, productivity, and resource usage across projects to strengthen the planning team’s expertise.
• Handle all planning and reporting obligations for tenders and contracts while maintaining a high standard of delivery.
• Work in close coordination with the project team on planning and schedule-related tasks.
• Maintain productive relationships with the broader project team, supply partners, and other stakeholders.
• Carry out short- to medium-term planning reviews and offer objective, forward-looking advice to reduce project risk.
• Evaluate, question, and consider alternative construction approaches to support ongoing improvement and help achieve the best project results.

Requirements

• A relevant third-level qualification is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in the industry is necessary.
• Prior planning and scheduling experience on data centre projects is essential.
• Strong computer skills are expected, including working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
