Role Overview

This position is for an experienced, self-directed Senior Data Scientist who can turn complex data into practical insights and develop dependable machine learning solutions. The work places strong importance on careful experimentation, statistical soundness, and consistent delivery within deadlines.

The right candidate should be comfortable working through messy, real-world datasets, setting up experiments, building and refining predictive models, and presenting results in a way that is clear for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of machine learning and statistical modeling, from problem definition and feature design through evaluation, improvement, and transfer to production teams.
• Investigate complex datasets in depth, extract useful findings, and collaborate with engineers to define and verify the data pipelines used for model development.
• Create and sustain strong evaluation frameworks that support model benchmarking, supplier comparisons, and architecture decisions with evidence-based insights.
• Plan, run, and measure structured experiments to identify the most effective modeling strategies and turn results into concrete optimization actions.
• Act as the main data science contact on projects, working directly with client R&D and analytics teams to convert business questions into clear modeling tasks and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Take full responsibility for the quality, planning, execution, and timely completion of data science workstreams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or comparable practical experience.
• Strong grounding in statistical modeling, machine learning, and model assessment methods.
• Experience designing and running structured experiments, including A/B testing and causal inference approaches.
• Hands-on exposure to supervised and unsupervised learning methods across use cases such as classification, regression, clustering, and time-series analysis.
• Experience using LLMs and GenAI techniques as part of the data science workflow.
• Excellent English writing and speaking skills, with the ability to present complex analysis in a clear and actionable way for different audiences.
• Strong Python programming ability, including common data science libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn.
• Comfort using SQL or similar tools to work with large datasets.
• Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving ability, and a healthy skepticism toward results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
• Proven capability to work independently, own outcomes, and contribute well within a small, collaborative team.
