Role overview
This full-time retail position is based in Whakatane, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. The role is centred on helping keep the store running smoothly, maintaining strong product availability, and delivering a positive experience for shoppers.
Working roster
The current schedule follows Roster option 1 with evening and overnight shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
- Tuesday: 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Wednesday: 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Thursday: 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Friday: 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM
- Saturday: 6:00 PM to 3:30 AM
What you will do
- Deliver helpful, high-quality customer service so shoppers have a better overall experience.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the store by responding to customer needs.
- Keep the store looking organised and well presented to support customer satisfaction.
- Stay visible on the shop floor, offer personal assistance, and handle questions or complaints quickly.
- Replenish stock regularly, with particular attention to essential items and fresh food.
- Maintain high standards for stock quality, rotation, and shelf presentation.
- Work closely with the team to support smooth store operations and keep the site clean and orderly.
- Follow safety procedures, report hazards, and complete tasks in line with company rules and legal obligations.
