Role Overview
This position is focused on recruiting high-quality management talent for Compass’s CCL Hospitality brand within senior living communities. The recruiter will use market knowledge to identify hiring trends, recommend sourcing approaches, and help shape talent assessment methods. The role also requires building productive relationships with internal teams, applicants, and external candidates while supporting hiring needs and potential new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate independently with initiative, drive, and strong focus in a fast-moving recruiting setting.
- Conduct interviews, screen applicants, qualify talent, and submit candidates to hiring managers while following OFCCP rules.
- Work alongside the recruiting group and business partners to achieve hiring targets.
- Communicate with candidates and client teams in a polished, upbeat, persuasive, and outcomes-oriented manner.
- Create effective job postings that accurately explain role expectations and appeal to suitable applicants.
- Maintain clear and professional communication in spoken and written interactions.
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, though comparable experience may also be considered.
- At least 5 years of end-to-end recruiting experience is required.
- Background in high-volume recruiting is preferred.
- Strong sourcing ability across multiple channels is needed to identify and connect with qualified candidates.
- Prior recruitment experience in food service is preferred.
- Experience with staffing agencies or executive search firms is considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of HR practices, EEOC guidance, and employment policies is expected.
- Strong telephone presence and clear candidate communication skills are important.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and a commitment to supporting both candidates and internal clients are required.
- Advanced computer proficiency is needed, including internet research, Microsoft Office, email, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based recruiting platforms.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $115,000 annually. Merit increases are also offered.
