Quality Inspector (In process GFRP)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector specializing in in-process GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) and installation quality. The role involves ensuring adherence to stringent safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing and installation phases. This position is with a globally recognized leader in technical services, offering testing, inspection, and certification.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-manufacturing reviews, including analysis of drawings, raw material specifications, and readiness of tooling.
• Perform detailed in-process inspections, closely monitoring critical parameters such as mixing ratios, pultrusion process variables, and curing cycles.
• Execute and review visual, dimensional, and mechanical testing to verify product integrity.
• Oversee site installation activities, ensuring full compliance with relevant codes and standards including MNRE, CEA, and IEC/IS.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all inspections, manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and prepare final quality reports.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or a Diploma in Plastic/Polymer Technology is required.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) specifically within the Plastic/FRP manufacturing industry is essential.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated expert knowledge of GFRP/PVC/Spun Pile production processes, statutory compliance requirements, and proficiency with international testing standards.
