Role Overview

The company is looking for a Project/Program Manager to support industrial project and continuous improvement work. In this role, you will coordinate, plan, and deliver manufacturing and/or industrial logistics projects while making sure safety practices are followed and operational risks are reduced.

The position is based in St-Laurent, Quebec and follows a work arrangement of four days on site and one day remote each week.

What You Will Do

• Drive a continuous improvement mindset by applying problem-solving methods and frameworks such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean, Design Thinking, and Agile.
• Lead improvement initiatives and track each project from kickoff through completion.
• Manage budgets for major projects, including assignments valued at up to 1 million dollars.
• Own and maintain project timelines and delivery schedules.
• Oversee investment decisions related to replacing outdated machinery and equipment in manufacturing settings.
• Prepare financial and technical business cases to support project definition and execution.
• Coordinate effectively with internal resources to move projects forward.

What You Need

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or another closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of logistics.
• Lean manufacturing experience, especially 5S.
• Strong project management capability and clear communication skills.
• PMP or PMI-ACP certification is considered an advantage.
• Green Belt Six Sigma certification is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with change management practices is an advantage.
• Experience managing change in a unionized environment is an advantage.
• Background in plant transformation or improvement projects is an advantage.
