Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Production Operator to join the production team in a fast-moving, high-energy manufacturing environment. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Smithtown, under AWS Level 2, with one vacancy available in the Coffee Mixes area.
What you will do
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and apply structured problem-solving methods.
- Help the line meet production targets while following standard routines and conditions tied to safety and the 4M framework: Man, Machine, Method, and Material.
- Work with a zero-injury, zero-defect, zero-waste mindset and encourage behaviours that strengthen safety, health, environment, and quality outcomes.
- Take part in Nestlé Continuous Excellence and Total Performance Management practices to grow capability and lift overall performance in your area.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in line with quality, compliance, safety, reliability, and cost expectations.

- You are dependable and flexible, and you can work rotating shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
- You enjoy learning and bring a clear commitment to safety, quality, and wellbeing.
- You have solid numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
- You are comfortable using common PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- You can work with SAP and understand how to complete SAP transactions.
- You have practical technical ability and the physical capacity to carry out manual handling tasks.
- You are committed to GMP standards.
- A forklift licence would be an added advantage.
- Preference will be given to candidates who show strong attention to standards and clear engagement with NCE and TPM practices.
