Overview
This opportunity is with Where are the Black Designers? and is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the North Loop area. The position is structured as an on-site, full-time role with a hybrid work setup. The company is looking for a designer who can contribute immediately and have meaningful ownership from day one.
Role focus
The work is split between two main areas. Roughly 70–80% of the role is centered on designing interfaces for AI-powered, agentic workflows. The remaining 20–30% involves expanding and refining the company’s “Prima” design system in Figma. Day-to-day collaboration will be with the Principal Product Designer.
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of product design experience, is highly comfortable working in Figma, and can think through user experience from start to finish. Experience with component-driven and token-based design systems is especially important.
