Key Responsibilities

• Examine architectural and interior drawings, along with BOQs, to identify the correct material requirements and quantities for procurement.
• Identify, assess, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for finishes, joinery, and fit-out items.
• Draft and send RFQs, review technical and commercial quotations, and advise on suitable vendor selections.
• Check that supplier quotations align with the intended design, finish schedules, and approved samples or mock-ups.
• Work closely with design and site teams to address specification gaps, proposed substitutions, and value-engineering opportunities.
• Monitor lead times, delivery timelines, and material submittals against the project schedule.
• Keep vendor records up to date, including pricing history and approved supplier/material lists.
• Issue purchase orders, compare budgeted versus actual spend, and assist with cost tracking and reporting.
• Handle technical queries with suppliers on behalf of the design and engineering teams.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required. The role also calls for 3 to 7 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or fit-out environments.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to understand and interpret architectural and interior drawings accurately.
• Practical knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and joinery specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit for drawing review, plus strong MS Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with the Saudi or GCC supplier landscape and local construction/procurement regulations is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and interdepartmental coordination skills are important for success in this position.
• English fluency is required; Arabic would be a significant plus.

This is a full-time, onsite procurement position based in the Riyadh Region. The job is centered on supporting project delivery through efficient sourcing, vendor coordination, cost control, and close collaboration with technical and site stakeholders.
