Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position is for a Pizza Maker in Windsor, Ontario. The role focuses on preparing dough, sauces, and toppings, building pizzas to order, and baking them to the restaurant’s quality standards using ovens and other kitchen tools.

Key Duties

You will keep your station clean and well organized, maintain prep levels so ingredients are ready during service, and follow all food safety and sanitation practices. The job also includes working with kitchen and front-of-house staff to keep orders moving smoothly, handling special requests when possible, and helping with general kitchen support as needed.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have strong food preparation and cooking ability, with consistent attention to recipes and portion control. Experience in food and beverage settings, especially pizzerias, Italian restaurants, or busy kitchens, is preferred. Good communication and customer service skills are important for teamwork and guest satisfaction. Applicants should also understand food safety, sanitation, and safe use of kitchen equipment.

Work Conditions

This role requires standing for long periods, working in a warm environment, and handling multiple orders under pressure. Prior pizza-making or line-cook experience is a plus, but training will be provided for someone who is willing to learn. The schedule must be flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
