Overview

Millennium Hotel Doha is seeking a skilled painter to help preserve the property’s appearance and presentation. In this hands-on role, you will carry out painting work with care and accuracy so that guest and staff areas remain clean, attractive, and well maintained.

What you will do

• Carry out painting assignments for both interior and exterior areas, including cleaning, priming, coating, and finishing surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, sanding, and repairing dents, cracks, and holes to create an even base.
• Choose, blend, and match paint shades so the final result is consistent with required standards.
• Use brushes, rollers, or spray tools to apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes according to the needs of each surface.
• Shield furniture, fittings, and other nearby items from paint splatter or damage while work is in progress.
• Handle a range of materials, such as water-based paints, oil-based paints, varnishes, and specialized coatings.
• Work alongside maintenance colleagues to complete painting tasks as part of wider property upkeep.
• Check completed work carefully and carry out touch-ups or corrections whenever needed to achieve a polished finish.
• Follow safety rules, use the required protective gear, and dispose of paint-related materials responsibly.
• Keep painting tools, supplies, and equipment in good order and maintain stock levels.
• Coordinate with supervisors to organize and prioritize painting work according to hotel requirements.
• Take part in training to remain current on safer work practices, industry methods, and improved painting techniques.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures set by the organization.

This position is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time, onsite role.
