Role Overview

The NOC Engineer will be based at the Al Jurf area office and will oversee authority-related submissions, permits, approvals, and inspections for assigned projects. The position requires close coordination with Abu Dhabi government entities, careful document control, and consistent support to project teams to keep all regulatory approvals on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the complete process for NOCs, permits, approvals, and inspections with Abu Dhabi authorities such as ADM, Civil Defense, Etisalat, ADDC, TACA, TAM, DMT, and similar bodies.
• Prepare authority applications and monitor them through to final clearance.
• Check drawings before submission to ensure they align with authority requirements.
• Address authority remarks and coordinate updated re-submissions.
• Arrange inspections and work with site teams to support them.
• Keep trackers, logs, and other permit and NOC records accurate and up to date.
• Prepare official letters and maintain well-organized documentation.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and the Project Director on all authority-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 8 to 12 years of experience handling authority submissions, approvals, and inspections in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong working knowledge of Abu Dhabi procedures, online portals, and regulatory standards.
• Ability to review drawings for authority compliance.
• Understanding of NOC workflows for large construction projects.
• Excellent coordination, tracking, and documentation skills.
• UAE experience is required; experience in Abu Dhabi is highly preferred.
• Experience dealing with both Abu Dhabi and Dubai authorities is an advantage.
• Exposure to large-scale developments or luxury projects is preferred.
