Role overview
Flex Health is hiring a Chartered Physiotherapist to support its private MSK and rehabilitation services across the Hull, Willerby and Beverley clinics. This is a full-time, on-site position with a salary range of £29,700.56 to £40,000 per year, depending on experience. The post reports to the Line Manager.
About the organisation
Flex Health is a leading regional provider of physiotherapy and rehabilitation care, covering musculoskeletal, sports, neurological and paediatric services. Established in 2015 by clinicians with experience in elite professional football, the organisation has expanded into a multi-site practice known for evidence-based treatment across East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
The organisation’s purpose is to Care, Lead and Create, with a focus on giving every patient the same high standard of care, whether they are recovering from injury, living with a long-term condition, or rebuilding strength and confidence after surgery.
What the role involves
You will provide high-quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. A major part of the role is guiding patients through an intensive rehab journey, starting from first assessment, moving through structured gym-based rehabilitation, and continuing through pitch-side or on-field return-to-play work.
This position suits a proactive physiotherapist who is confident working in private healthcare and enjoys contributing to a multidisciplinary clinical team focused on achieving strong patient outcomes.
Core duties
The role includes delivering expert MSK assessments and treatment sessions, creating and delivering individualised rehab plans for private, insured and corporate patients, and working with post-operative, complex musculoskeletal and sporting cases.
You will collaborate with colleagues across MSK, neurological, paediatric and occupational health services, help maintain a culture of clinical quality and governance, and support ongoing service improvement.
Other parts of the role include building positive relationships with patients, referrers, insurers and local sports clubs, as well as taking ownership of caseload management, referral development and patient engagement.
Essential requirements
Applicants must hold a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC. A minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience is required, along with a strong background in musculoskeletal practice.
You should have experience in private healthcare and/or sports rehabilitation settings, be able to work independently while also contributing effectively within a wider clinical team, and feel confident with exercise prescription, manual therapy and rehabilitation planning.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a clear commitment to continuing professional development and evidence-based practice.
Desirable experience
Additional advantages include experience in professional or semi-professional sport, familiarity with specialist rehab tools such as an Alter-G treadmill or shockwave equipment, knowledge of local referral or sporting networks in Yorkshire, and experience mentoring junior colleagues or students.
What’s offered
The package includes a competitive salary with bonus potential, work across modern clinics in Hull, Willerby and Beverley, CPD funding, ongoing development support, access to elite rehabilitation equipment and facilities, a collaborative team environment, and genuine scope for progression within a growing business.
Benefits and working conditions
Additional benefits include casual dress, company pension, cycle-to-work scheme, employee mentoring programme, flexitime, gym membership, life insurance, access to an on-site gym and on-site parking.
