Role overview
This role is based in Birmingham and covers the city portfolio, including Centre City, Mclaren, Cornerblock, Enterprise Wharf, Innovation Birmingham, Cornwall Buildings and BHIC. The role is mainly based at the Centre City office, with travel to nearby sites as needed.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will own marketing activity for the Birmingham portfolio. This is a practical, hands-on position with responsibility for shaping marketing plans and delivering them end to end.
What you will do
- Partner with the Head of Marketing to shape and deliver the Birmingham marketing strategy, with a focus on lettings and retention objectives.
- Act as a guardian of the Bruntwood SciTech brand while also supporting brand development and place-making initiatives.
- Oversee the development and production of marketing assets across multiple formats, including CGIs, video, brochures, photography, hoardings and social media content.
- Create compelling PR activity around important milestones and deals, while coordinating the required approval process with stakeholders.
- Work closely with Commercial, Asset Management and internal project teams to support the Birmingham business plan.
- Collaborate with central content and digital teams to plan and run integrated campaigns that support commercial goals and generate leads.
- Review campaign results and performance data to improve conversion outcomes.
- Build effective working relationships with national and sector suppliers, partners and stakeholders to spot and use new opportunities.
- Keep up to date with trends in commercial property, technology and science.

- Proven experience running marketing campaigns from initial concept through to completion, with the ability to think both creatively and commercially.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of marketing activity.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across teams and functions.
- Experience dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent planning and organisational ability, including managing several projects at once.
- A marketing degree or a similar qualification would be preferred.
- A commercial mindset and genuine interest in property, technology, innovation and science.
- Comfort working in a hands-on environment within a growing, ambitious startup-style business.
