The Infrastructure Manager will take charge of the restaurant’s technology and operational systems in Dubai, splitting time between being present at The Bay Indian Restaurant and working remotely when appropriate. This position focuses on keeping the business’s IT environment stable, secure, and efficient so day-to-day operations run smoothly.

You will oversee the core infrastructure used in a restaurant setting, including networks, hardware, point-of-sale systems, and the software that supports them. The job calls for regular monitoring of system health, planning and executing upgrades, arranging maintenance, and working closely with vendors and service partners to keep services reliable.

The role involves resolving technical issues, maintaining documentation for systems and workflows, supporting staff in using technology tools effectively, and ensuring that backup and data protection practices are consistently followed. You will also help plan for future growth and resilience, making sure infrastructure choices support broader business needs and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications and experience

The ideal candidate should have practical experience handling IT infrastructure in a small or medium-sized business, including networks, servers, POS systems, and user devices. Strong troubleshooting ability, system administration knowledge, and confidence in incident handling are important. You should also understand basic information security practices, recovery processes, and requirements related to customer and payment data.

Additional strengths

Experience dealing with external vendors for connectivity, hardware, and software services is valuable. The role also requires someone who can write clear procedures, explain technical matters in simple terms, and stay organized while working in a part-time, hybrid arrangement.
