HVAC Technician

Role overview

Bandora is seeking a Junior HVAC Technician to support energy-sector facilities in Doha, Qatar. This role is suited to an early-career HVAC professional who wants to build experience working with skilled MEP teams in a demanding technical environment.

Key duties

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on HVAC equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, package units, and chillers.
• Inspect, diagnose, and resolve issues across electrical and mechanical components linked to HVAC operations.
• Attend breakdowns promptly and work to keep equipment downtime to a minimum.
• Follow HSE requirements and comply with permit-to-work procedures at all times.
• Record maintenance activity accurately in logs and reports.

Candidate profile

• Hands-on experience of 1 to 3 years in HVAC or MEP maintenance.
• Good understanding of refrigeration cycles, air distribution systems, and electrical panels.
• Ability to support planned preventive maintenance activities and troubleshoot faults effectively.
• Valid safety-related certifications are preferred, with Basic Safety required and Work at Height considered an advantage.
• A collaborative attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to keep learning.
