Role Overview
The client’s office is based in Northwest Houston, and the team is looking to add an HR coordinator who will report to the HR Director at the corporate office. This is a growing environment, so the ideal person should be comfortable adapting to change, staying organized, and working effectively with others.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the HR team with projects, ATS rollout support, job description updates, file organization, and vendor coordination.
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives within the HR function.
- Act as a project coordinator for HR programs when needed, including tracking action items, preparing meeting notes, distributing follow-ups, and sharing status updates.
- Handle pre-employment requirements such as background checks and drug screenings, and help keep the process moving efficiently.
- Support HR administration by drafting job descriptions, preparing job requisitions, managing job posting workflows, creating offer letters, and handling calendar coordination.
- Work closely with the HR team to deliver a consistent hiring and onboarding experience.
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions and coordinate completion of onboarding paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records, support proper record retention, and contribute to improvements in HR processes.
- Assist with reporting and analytics tasks as needed.
Qualifications
A degree is preferred, and candidates should have 1 to 3 years of HR experience.
Work Environment
This role is based onsite in Northwest Houston and requires someone who can thrive in a dynamic office setting.
