Overview
Parsons is hiring an experienced HSE Manager for its Tabuk operations. This leadership position focuses on building, rolling out, and enforcing strong Health, Safety, and Environmental programs for major infrastructure and mega-project work. The role is central to creating a safety-first environment where site activities are carried out with controlled risk, while meeting Parsons’ internal standards, client expectations, and Saudi regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, refresh, and execute project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and management systems for complex civil and infrastructure works.
- Carry out detailed safety audits, hazard reviews, and site inspections to verify full compliance with local regulations, including Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development requirements, as well as international standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Take ownership of investigations into incidents, near misses, and root-cause events, then define and enforce corrective and preventive actions without delay.
- Lead safety inductions, specialized HSE training, and regular toolbox talks to keep employees and subcontractors highly aware of safety expectations.
- Prepare, validate, and continuously improve emergency response and evacuation arrangements for all project sites and offices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 10 years of hands-on HSE experience in construction or engineering, including 3 to 5 years in a management role on large infrastructure or mega-projects, ideally within the Middle East.
- Professional safety credentials are mandatory, such as NEBOSH International Diploma, CSP, or CMIOSH.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction risks, heavy equipment safety, environmental management systems, and risk control methods.
- Ability to provide strong leadership, communicate clearly, resolve conflicts effectively, and influence diverse stakeholders in a multicultural setting.
- Willingness to live and work in the Tabuk region.
