Role overview

The position supports complex HR queries and transactions across areas such as Total Rewards, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, and Reporting.
The role covers RTX businesses in Singapore and New Zealand, including Pratt & Whitney, Collins, and RTX Corporation. It is a busy and varied position that calls for someone who can smoothly move between tasks such as advising people managers on employee relations matters, researching policy-related questions with COE partners, and coordinating learning programs with external vendors. The role serves both managers and employees across a diverse regional population, so adaptability in communication and working style is important.
The environment is suited to a proactive, energetic, collaborative HR professional with broad generalist experience and a strong focus on customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced HR guidance and operational support across the specialized services function.
- Serve as the main contact for people managers seeking HR advice, while maintaining a consistently high standard of service.
- Act as a subject matter resource for Singapore HR policy, procedures, and working practices.
- Contribute to process improvement, including standardization efforts, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with customers, Centers of Excellence, vendors, and BU HR partners to speed up resolution and keep knowledge current.
- Track key SLA measures and help ensure service levels meet or exceed targets.
- Use the CORE framework and related tools to improve processes, quality, and compliance.
- Follow corporate requirements for data protection and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Solid experience as an HR generalist.
- Background in Learning and Development, Total Rewards, Employee Relations, or Reporting will be an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in teams and meet deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of current HR policies and processes, including handling complex employee relations issues.
- Understanding of local legal and regulatory requirements relevant to specialized HR services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Practical, analytical, and solution-oriented, with sound leadership and stakeholder management ability.
- Well organized with strong administrative capability.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in an HR COE.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Role type guidance provided by the employer indicates that onsite roles are primarily based at the workplace, hybrid roles combine onsite and offsite work, and remote roles are mainly offsite; commuting to any assigned site remains the employee’s responsibility for onsite and hybrid arrangements.
- The role is described as requiring advanced knowledge gained through advanced education and experience, with practical knowledge of project management being beneficial.
- Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience plus at least 5 years of relevant prior experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
