Home Delivery Driver

Role overview

We are looking for a Home Delivery Driver who enjoys being active, working independently, and interacting with customers. In this position, you will deliver grocery orders and represent Iceland as the customer-facing driver for home deliveries.

What the role involves

• Following correct procedures for loading the van, including safe manual handling and lifting of heavier items
• Driving safely and in line with road rules and company standards
• Carrying out routine checks on the delivery van
• Making sure food reaches customers in the best possible condition
• Delivering a high standard of service to customers
• Helping out in the store when needed
• Working on your own and managing time well
• Being flexible to work varied shifts, with working hours that may fall between 6am and 11pm

What we’re looking for

• A full driving licence held for at least 3 years, with no more than 6 points
• A positive, approachable attitude and a genuine commitment to good customer care
• Punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong awareness of road safety

Pay and benefits

This role pays £13.71 per hour.
