Iceland Foods is recruiting a Home Delivery Driver for its Bishops Wood location. The job pays £13.71 per hour and is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers.

What you will do

• Load the van safely and follow correct manual-handling and heavy-lifting procedures.
• Drive with care and follow all safe driving practices.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and during shifts.
• Make sure groceries reach customers in the best possible condition.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service during every drop-off.
• Support the store team when extra help is needed.
• Work on your own, while managing time effectively and staying organised.
• Be flexible for shift work, with working patterns that may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

What you need to apply

• A full driving licence that has been held for at least 3 years.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• A positive, approachable attitude and genuine interest in good customer service.
• Good punctuality and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong awareness of road safety at all times.
