Financial Operations Manager

Role overview

This opportunity is for an experienced finance leader to oversee transactional finance operations across the group. The position works closely with multiple stakeholders and carries responsibility for AP, AR, collections, and payroll. A key part of the role is improving the way finance processes run, with a focus on efficiency and better team performance.

Key duties

• Manage and guide the finance team, supporting both performance and development.
• Handle accounts payable activities.
• Oversee accounts receivable workflows.
• Supervise payroll operations.
• Take responsibility for month-end close activities and general ledger reporting.
• Maintain the fixed asset register.
• Prepare and support statutory reporting requirements.
• Review performance metrics and financial data to support decision-making.
• Continuously strengthen internal controls and refine finance processes.
• Drive ongoing process improvements across the finance function.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.

Candidate profile

The ideal person will have prior experience leading a transactional finance team and should bring relevant sector experience. Success in this role requires the ability to work independently, along with a strong eye for accuracy and detail.
