Role overview
This Facilities Coordinator position is based in Dublin and requires five days a week on site. The role focuses on keeping the workplace operating efficiently, safely, and to a high standard so employees can work productively.
It will suit someone who enjoys practical problem-solving, working with technology, and contributing to a fast-moving environment. An interest in the gaming sector is a bonus. The right person should be flexible, self-starting, and comfortable handling new challenges independently.
Key responsibilities
You will act as the first point of contact for facilities-related issues and work to resolve requests promptly. A major part of the role is ensuring the office remains well maintained and that equipment and building systems continue to function as expected.
You will support office relocations, desk arrangements, and upkeep of floor plans and related records. The role also includes monitoring building services such as HVAC and BMS, addressing minor faults, and escalating more complex issues where required.
In addition, you will coordinate with building management and external suppliers to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will oversee the facilities helpdesk, make sure tickets are tracked through to closure, and help maintain Health & Safety compliance.
Administrative duties include raising and managing purchase orders and invoices, organising contractors, controlling access and schedules for site work, and keeping track of assets, equipment, and warranties. You will also work with different teams to resolve operational issues, improve processes, manage everyday office supplies and services, and assist with projects and other ad hoc tasks.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with prior experience in Facilities, Workplace, or Operations roles. Exposure to workplace technology and modern office environments is important, and an interest in gaming would be an advantage.
Experience using helpdesk or facilities platforms such as Maximo or Concept will be valuable. A basic understanding of HVAC, BMS, or other building systems is also needed.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, and focused on practical solutions. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to juggle several tasks while staying organised.
Comfort using spreadsheets and working with data is required. You should also have awareness of Health & Safety practices and be a collaborative team player who can adapt comfortably to change.
