Event Service Expert

Role Overview

The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is looking for an Event Service Expert to help create polished, memorable guest experiences during banquets, meetings, weddings, and other events. This position is part of the Food and Beverage & Culinary function and is based at the West Bay Lagoon property in Doha, Qatar. It is a full-time, non-management role and is not remote.

The resort has 374 rooms and suites, award-winning dining venues, spa and fitness facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, a private beach, a Club Lounge, and versatile event spaces supported by a team that customizes each occasion.

What the Role Involves

The job is not only about serving guests at events. It also includes helping shape a seamless experience from beginning to end. The Event Service Expert handles setup and teardown, moves supplies, takes orders, and interacts with guests so that every transaction feels natural and part of the occasion.

Success in this role also depends on maintaining a safe work environment, following company rules and procedures, meeting quality expectations, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style at all times. The role involves being on your feet for long periods and performing hands-on physical work, including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior related work experience of less than 1 year is preferred. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
