Driver

Role Overview

This position is responsible for transporting customer orders safely and on schedule while serving as a professional representative of the company during every delivery. The role also includes maintaining service quality throughout the delivery process.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport assigned shipments to customers based on planned routes and delivery schedules.
• Complete all deliveries accurately and within the agreed service timelines.
• Carefully load and unload goods to reduce the risk of damage.
• Check delivery information and secure customer signatures or proof of delivery when required.
• Carry out daily checks on the vehicle and report any faults or maintenance concerns.
• Adhere to road safety rules, traffic regulations, and company procedures at all times.
• Update the operations team quickly on delivery progress, delays, or exceptions.
• Keep delivery documentation accurate through handheld devices.
• Respond to customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Support return pickups, failed deliveries, and reverse logistics when needed.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Singapore Class 3 or Class 3A driving licence, or another relevant licence depending on the vehicle used.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in delivery driving is preferred.
• Sound familiarity with Singapore roads and route planning is important.
• Comfortable using GPS systems and mobile delivery apps.
• Physically capable of lifting and carrying parcels safely.
• Strong organisational skills and good time management.
• Clear communication and customer service abilities.
• Able to work independently and perform under pressure in a busy environment.
• Must have a clean driving record and a strong commitment to safe driving.
